At Global Public School, we believe in nurturing not just academic excellence but also a deep appreciation for our cultural roots. As part of our continuous efforts to promote linguistic pride and cultural awareness, an Inter-House Hindi Quiz Competition was organized for students of Classes VI to IX.
The quiz was designed to test students’ knowledge across various dimensions of the Hindi language-ranging from literature and grammar to vocabulary and cultural heritage. With enthusiasm and competitive spirit, participants showcased their understanding of great Hindi literary works, famous authors, idioms, proverbs, and historical milestones associated with the Rashtra Bhasha.
Through this activity, students learned more than just facts and figures. They gained: a deeper understanding of the richness and evolution of Hindi literature, enhanced vocabulary and grammatical skills, insights into the cultural and historical significance of Hindi in India’s national identity, confidence in expressing themselves in their mother tongue and the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and respectful competition.
The event was not only intellectually stimulating but also served as a platform for students to reconnect with the richness of Hindi as a language. Such initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening the bond young learners share with their linguistic heritage while encouraging team spirit and holistic growth.
The quiz concluded with applause and appreciation for all participating students. Teachers and peers celebrated their efforts, reinforcing our shared pride in the Rashtra Bhasha.
