Ganesh Utsav Celebrated with Enthusiasm

At Global Public School, we believe that festivals are not just about rituals – they are wonderful opportunities to help children understand the values, traditions, and cultural heritage of India. This year, our Kindergarten classrooms were filled with laughter, devotion, and excitement as we celebrated Ganesh Utsav with our youngest learners. The entire event was thoughtfully designed to make learning joyful, experiential, and deeply meaningful for little ones.

The celebration began with interactive storytelling sessions where teachers narrated the inspiring tales of Lord Ganesha – his wisdom, kindness, and playful nature. To make the stories come alive, children also watched a short animated film about Lord Ganesha, which captured their imagination and made them curious to learn more.

Adding to the festive spirit, students engaged in creative classroom activities such as coloring Lord Ganesha’s images, singing devotional songs, and learning simple shlokas. The cheerful decorations, vibrant artwork, and rhythmic beats of Ganesh aarti created a joyful atmosphere where children could truly feel the spirit of the festival.

What made the celebration even more special was the way our young learners connected with Indian traditions while having fun. They not only enjoyed the stories and songs but also imbibed important values such as devotion, gratitude, respect for culture, and the joy of togetherness.

At Global Public School, Ganesh Utsav was not just a festival – it was a beautiful blend of cultural learning and value-based education. By celebrating traditions in such engaging ways, we aim to nurture children who are not only academically strong but also rooted in culture, compassionate in character, and confident in spirit.
